Facebook: Reinstate Miko Peled's Facebook profile

Why this is important

Two weeks ago Facebook shut down the personal account of Miko Peled, an Israeli, and an outspoken advocate for Palestinian human rights. Facebook is claiming his ID cannot be verified, and has accused him of trolling, neither of which are true. Peled is a popular public figure who's identity is not in question, and his efforts to resolve this issue with Facebook have gone no where. He believes Facebook has targeted him for his political views, and they have shutdown his account to deliberately censor his voice. Peled is a man of courage and integrity, and we are petitioning Facebook on his behalf to immediately reinstate his original Facebook profile.

Is there anyone that can't see that President Bush's excuse for attacking Iraq is a lie?

Dear Judge Silberman,

President Bush repeatedly claimed that Saddam didn't allow the inspectors in. Is there anyone that can't see that President Bush's excuse for attacking Iraq is a lie? Clearly a provable lie since the fact is that Saddam DID allow the inspectors in.
And claiming that the excuse for the war was faulty intel doesn't hold water because the intel was checked and debunked BEFORE the war as a "report commissioned by the president" revealed: "By the time President Bush ordered U.S. troops to disarm Saddam Hussein of the deadly weapons he was allegedly trying to build, every piece of fresh evidence had been tested -- and disproved -- by U.N. inspectors, according to a report commissioned by the president" - Panel: U.S. Ignored Work of U.N. Arms Inspectors by Dafna Linzer Washington Post Staff Writer Sunday, April 3, 2005; Page A06

Sincerely,
Tom Murphy

"After the initial piece aired on NBC in 2003, Mr. Summerlin and his crew went looking for reporters on their base in Kuwait to tell them about the inaccuracies in Mr. Williams’s reporting. Instead, they wound up leaving notes in several news vans encouraging them to get in touch. Years later, they were still frustrated by Mr. Williams’s recounting."
