your homework for the election

please email this to the media (see link below) and then email everyone you know and tell them to do the same. It is ridiculous that the media has done such a poor job reporting basic facts. Pass it on:

The public should not be voting for someone out of ignorance. This really needs to reported right now.

Even after the final report of Charles Duelfer to Congress saying that Iraq did not
have a significant WMD program, 72% of Bush supporters continue to believe that Iraq had actual
WMD (47%) or a major program for developing them (25%). Fifty-six percent assume that most
experts believe Iraq had actual WMD and 57% also assume, incorrectly, that Duelfer concluded Iraq had
at least a major WMD program. Kerry supporters hold opposite beliefs on all these points.
Similarly, 75% of Bush supporters continue to believe that Iraq was providing substantial support to al
Qaeda, and 63% believe that clear evidence of this support has been found. Sixty percent of Bush
supporters assume that this is also the conclusion of most experts, and 55% assume, incorrectly, that this
was the conclusion of the 9/11 Commission. Here again, large majorities of Kerry supporters have
exactly opposite perceptions.

We walk through their ancient capitals in t-shirts and sneakers, expecting everyone to understand English if we speak it loudly and slowly enough

THAT IS NOT WHY WE ARE HATED!!!! The policy makers have supported brutal governments and backed terrorism against millions of people. US policy makers have invaded and bombed people and US policy makers have violated International Law.

Should I punch you in the face because I claim that you might punch me? (even if you have not even threatened me?) It is ridiculous right? Bush had made that policy. Do you realize how off the wall it is? It would be illegal would it not. International LAw is based on the same standards of reasonable and moral behavior. If we are under real threat then according to International Law we do indeed have a right to defend ourselves. Just as if you were attacking me or if you pulled a gun on we. And the US media isn't teaching you what is going on. Bush has publicly mocked the very idea of International law. the US media isn't telling you this! In Iraq we violated International law by attacking, we violated international by imposing laws upon Iraq in direct violation of the Hague convention which we signed. we placed our CIA asset in the Iraqi GOverning COuncil. The process of determining the PM was violated and we now have him Allawi as PM. the US media isn't telling you this!
PM Allawi. according to two independently interviewed witnesses shot to death 6 prisoners. the US media isn't telling you this!
what we now have is Saddam II in power in Iraq and it is again the fault of the US. We have violated the will of the Iraqi people and we talk opening about keeping troops there for years when we know, according to polls taken in Iraq. Are you not putting 2 and 2 together? If we are supposedly there to set up a democracy then we can't talk about doing things in violation of the Iraqi people. The BS has been exposed, you just need to see it.
We know that ISrael is not popular with Arabs and yet we have allowed the Mossad to infiltrate Iraq. We have allowed Israeli businesses to get deals in Iraq, even though we know how Iraqis fell about Israel. Who does Iraq belong to? Who is supposed to make the decisions if it is a true democracy? And Iraqi officials talk openly about a pipeline from Iraq to Israel. you know damn well the Iraqi people don't want their oil to go to Israel and yet we allow these shits to openly talk like this. did you hear it in the American media?

Do you have any idea how wrong it is what US policy makers have done around the world. it isn't about T-Shits and sneakers. wake up, you are in a dream world.
A denier writes: "You can also visit a website called www.wintersoldier.com and find tons of proof."

That web site says STEVEN J. PITKIN now claims he "neither witnessed nor participated in any American war crimes or atrocities"
He claims "During the Winter Soldier Investigation, John Kerry and other leaders of that event pressured me to testify about American war crimes"
We really need to think about how that really could make sence.
Some common sence should be used when we consider his claims, especially this one:
"Upon my return to the United States I encountered anti-war protestors who, at various times, threw feces, spit, and screamed obscenities."
I think he is really laying it on thick and is simply repeating an urban myth. ( a myth he has heard just as others have heard it without realizing it isn't true) Also he claims he went along with the wishes of anti-war activists AFTER he had supposedly been spit on by anti-war activists and had shit thrown at him by anti-war activists and was cursed by anti-war activists when he came back home?!? Give me a break!

DOes anyone see a problem with his claims? Today he wants you to believe he was "forced" by anti-war activists to testify falsely? And after he supposedly had been abused with spit, shit and curses by anti-war activists? The guys is not credible. and we see that his claims about spit AND SHIT NO LESS! ( supposedly being thrown at soldiers at an Air Force Base?)
These claims undermine his credibility and the web site when they make the claim "At Travis Air Force Base in California he was showered with feces thrown by anti-war protestor" Apply common sence, there are no news reports of this see the bottom part of this post, the section about the myth about "Vietnam Vets Getting Spit On" and how the hell could this actaully happen at Travis Air Force Base? These guys are apparently not aware that these claims have been debunked. For those that may not be aware, the "spitting on vets stories" have turned out to be basically an urban myth See: Denying Facts and Embracing Myths: Vietnam War Crimes and Tales about "Vietnam Vets Getting Spit On" see also: The Village Voice: Features: Swift Boat Swill by Nicholas Turse

the crimes happened! don't deny them

Is Sean Hannity a denier?

here is the email I sent Sean Hannity. copy it and email it to hannity@foxnews.com

Dear Mr. Hannity,

You made the claim that many of the Winter Soldier testimony was proven false, can you give me a source for this?

You make the claim that "Kerry accused" soldiers of crimes. That is an absurd characterization of Kerry repeating what the men themselves had testified to. These crimes have been documented, you can read about the atrocities from the National Archives. How dare you deny that these crimes happened. And you serve powerful interests by ignoring the main message of Kerry which was to hold the leaders and decision makers responsible. Kerry wasn't trying to screw over fellow soldiers, it is disgusting for you to spout off "why didn't he turn the men in?" The National Archives have hundreds of files of official US military investigations that document the very same kind of atrocities that Kerry related in the Senate Hearings. See: The Village Voice: Features: Swift Boat Swill by Nicholas Turse

Sean, I look forward to you documentation that "proves" the Winter Soldier testimonies were false.

email the above to hannity@foxnews.com
At the "Oh. That Liberal Media" web site they try once again to make a case of "liberal bias"
Their problem is they really don't know what a bias is and don't know how to read clearly.

The make this claim about a NYT article:
From the start, the article embraces the criticisms of Bush's policies as fact, by allowing them to go unchallenged:
"It is a characterization of Mr. Bush's foreign policy style often heard around the world: bullying, unreceptive, brazen. The result, critics of this administration contend, has been a disastrous loss of international support, damage to American credibility, the sullying of America's image and a devastating war that has already taken more than 1,000 American lives. In the first presidential debate, Senator John Kerry argued that only with a change of presidents could the damage be undone."

Guys that is not bias. This is the problem, you don't understnd what bias even is. "the article embraces the criticisms of Bush's policies as fact" NO it doesn't, you have a distorted reading of that the acticle says. READ it.
That is NOT "embracing the criticisms of Bush's policies as fact", it says Kerry argues the point, it doesn't state the point is fact. You are reading into it what isn't there. The context makes it very clear, the things I bolded. Also, do you realize how weirdly constructed the sentence about Kerry would have to be to satisfy you contrived standard? It would be incorrect to write "the alleged damage" in the sentence since Kerry isn't alleging it, Kerry is the one saying it is fact, not the writers of the article. It is what a critic contends, the article is not saying that it is fact, it says Kerry argued it. Not that it is.

Christians in Jerusalem want Jews to stop spitting on them

See Christians in Jerusalem want Jews to stop spitting on them at http://www.haaretzdaily.com/hasen/pages/ShArt.jhtml?itemNo=487412&contrassID=1
A few weeks ago, a senior Greek Orthodox clergyman in Israel attended a meeting at a government office in Jerusalem's Givat Shaul quarter. When he returned to his car, an elderly man wearing a skullcap came and knocked on the window. When the clergyman let the window down, the passerby spat in his face. Many Jerusalem clergy have been subjected to abuse of this kind.
On Sunday, a fracas developed when a yeshiva student spat at the cross being carried by the Armenian Archbishop during a procession near the Holy Sepulchre in the Old City. The archbishop's 17th-century cross was broken during the brawl and he slapped the yeshiva student.
Archbishop Nourhan Manougian says he expects the education minister to say something.
"When there is an attack against Jews anywhere in the world, the Israeli government is incensed, so why when our religion and pride are hurt, don't they take harsher measures?" he asks.
According to Daniel Rossing, former adviser to the Religious Affairs Ministry on Christian affairs and director of a Jerusalem center for Christian-Jewish dialogue, there has been an increase in the number of such incidents recently, "as part of a general atmosphere of lack of tolerance in the country."
There are an increased number at certain times of year, such as during the Purim holiday."I know Christians who lock themselves indoors during the entire Purim holiday," he says.

Religious Jews, among them yeshiva students, customarily spit on the ground as a sign of disgust on seeing the cross. The Armenians, who live adjacent to the Jewish Quarter of the Old City, suffer from this phenomenon more than any of the other Christian sects in the Old City.

The Armenian archbishop in Israel, Nourhan Manougian, was questioned under warning by police yesterday after he slapped a yeshiva student during a procession marking the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Jerusalem's Old City. The archbishop slapped the student after the latter spat at the cross the Armenians were carrying and at Manougian himself.
"The Israeli government is anti-Christian," Manougian charges. "It cries out in the face of any harm done to Jews all over the world, but is simply not interested at all when we are humiliated on an almost daily basis."

And stupid "Christian Zionists" fall over themselves kissing these peoples' asses!
In America, fools who have this idea in their heads that they should "serve and bless Israel"

But maybe Charlie's heart was in the right place. He figured that since none of his constituents pay income taxes more of them ought to contribute to their country in another way.

Thiis may shock you but did you know that the blue states pay more taxes than they receive back from the government but the red states actually get more from the government than they pay in taxes? Yes, with all the talk about "rugged individualism" and rants about "big government", the bottom line is the red states are on the dole!! Yep, the ones with the biggest mouths bitching about welfare are the biggest recipients of government handouts!

This book basically breaks it down to the red states as "Retro America" and the blue states as "Metro America":
"Between 1991 and 2000, the 25 states that make up Retro America received $800 billion more in federal payments than they paid in federal taxes. Much of this unfair transfer of wealth from the Metro states was delivered via subsidies to the extraction industries-agriculture, mining, timber, oil, etc. So, who's the real “welfare queen,” if not Retro America?"

Fox Fabricates: "I'm metrosexual — he's a cowboy," the Democratic candidate said of himself and his opponent.

Seriously, does anything you guys who scream about a supposed "liberal media" come close to FoxNews' fabricated Kerry story? Fox has admitted it happened, why do you ignore it?:“Carl [Cameron] made a stupid mistake which he regrets. And he has been reprimanded for his lapse in judgment. It was a poor attempt at humor."

You guys scream endlessly about CBS and a memo they received from someone else yet when a Fox News reporter actually fabricates things about Kerry, you guys are silent. In fact not only you but everyone on the Internet and the mainstream media covered this ENORMOUSLY. Are you going to tell me this story, of a Network's employe actually involved in fabricating and disseminating a fraud is receiving anything close to the attention the CBS story received? Guys, Rather didn't actually CREATE or FABRICATE anything BUT Carl Cameron did! Gee whiz, why isn't the mainstream "liberal" media screaming about this on TV? Guys, time to rethink your theory. mediamatters

When Bush said this it was so pathetic, "One of his campaign people alleged that Prime Minister Allawi was like a puppet. That's no way to treat somebody who's courageous and brave, that is trying to lead his country forward."
I actually laughed when Bush awkwardly said it. The weird way he delivered the line and the phony argument to cover up the fact that Allawi is our puppet.
