Why Osama bin Laden Attacked the US

The video "Why Osama bin Laden Attacked the USpushes an outright lie. I have made many videos on the main motive for the 9/11 attack (anger at US support of Israel) and several videos directly addressing the fact that people are lying about the motivation to suppress the main motive for the attack. see Rather Outrageous Suppression of the Main Motive for 9/11 Attacks https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQiUXc_aMoo&list=PLF81BB573C9C0C7B2&index=4

I also have written many times exposing the fact that people have been lying about bin Laden's motivation. I even cited  The Bin Laden I Know, Peter Bergen where Bergen makes the point that people have been lying about bin Laden's motivation: "Conventional wisdom has it that bin Laden adopted the Palestinians issue only recently. Reading this declaration [the first declaration of war, issued in 1996SHOULD PUT THAT CANARD TO REST." p164 The Bin Laden I Know, Peter Bergen
And you can see at the following link that I traced back bin Laden's earliest expression of this grievance to at least as far back as 1984:

"Sheikh Mohammed said that the purpose of the attack on the Twin Towers was to "wake the American people up." Sheikh Mohammed said that if the target would have been strictly military or government, the American people would not focus on the atrocities that America is committing by supporting Israel against the Palestinian people and America's self-serving foreign policy that corrupts Arab governments and leads to further exploitation of the Arab/Muslim peoples." (source: The Osama Bin Laden I Know: An Oral History of Al Qaeda's Leader By Peter L. Bergen p 418 )

Ramzi Yousef is
Khalid Sheikh Mohammed's nephew and
Ramzi Yousef was the mastermind of the first attack on the WTC, the attack in 1993:

I remember the same game of suppression played after the 1993 attack on the WTC, almost no one wanted to report what the motive was even though it was made clear by Ramzi Yousef: "Yousef sent a letter to the New York Times after the 1993 bombing attack on the WTC, "We declare our responsibility for the explosion on the mentioned building. This action was done in response for the American political, economical, and military support to Israel the state of terrorism and to the rest of the dictator countries in the region.""

"Yousef said he took no thrill from killing American citizens and felt guilty about the civilian deaths he had caused. But his conscience was overridden by his desire to stop the killing of Arabs by Israeli troops." "Yousef said he "would like it to be different," but only terrible violence could force this kind of abrupt political change. He said that he truly believed his actions had been rational and logical in pursuit of a change in U.S. policy toward Israel. He mentioned no other motivation during the flight and no other issue in American foreign policy that concerned him." (source: Steve Coll, Ghost Wars p273 )

The video "Why Osama bin Laden Attacked the US" presents a distorted view of the motivations behind the 9/11 attacks. The primary motive was a response to the U.S.'s support of Israel. Check out this video explaining the suppression of this main motive: Rather Outrageous Suppression of the Main Motive for 9/11 Attacks.

Mainstream narratives often fail to cover bin Laden's genuine motivations. As detailed in Peter Bergen's book The Bin Laden I Know, bin Laden's grievance regarding U.S. support of Israel dates back to at least 1984. Representative Press Blog.

Bin Laden’s 1996 declaration of war on the U.S. shows his longstanding anger at U.S. support for Israel, as highlighted by Peter Bergen: “Reading this declaration SHOULD PUT THAT CANARD TO REST” (The Bin Laden I Know, p. 164).

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the mastermind of 9/11, stated that the attacks were aimed at "waking the American people up" to the impact of U.S. policies. His motivation was rooted in perceived injustices against Palestinians. (The Osama Bin Laden I Know, p. 418).

The suppression of bin Laden’s true motives in media narratives is concerning. These motives are well-documented but often ignored. Peter Bergen emphasizes this in his work: The Bin Laden I Know.

Ramzi Yousef expressed regret for civilian deaths but justified his actions as a rational protest against U.S. policies. He targeted the WTC to prompt a policy shift. More on this: Ghost Wars, p. 273.

Bin Laden’s motivations go beyond recent events; his grievances about U.S. foreign policy date back decades. Peter Bergen points this out, debunking claims that bin Laden’s focus on Palestine was new (The Bin Laden I Know, p. 164).

After the 1993 WTC bombing, Ramzi Yousef outlined his objections to U.S. support for Israel in a letter to the NY Times. His motive was clear, yet media coverage often ignores this. Learn more: Representative Press Blog.
