'Nothing more than Propaganda'

NEW VIDEOS: 'Nothing more than Propaganda' NBC/Pentagon Jim Miklaszewsk on Duty
Reports that Afghan villagers have been offering one theory about what might have motivated his rampage. I'm putting another video together about the latest Afghanistan massacre which is part of an illegitimate war in Afghanistan. Because you don't use the military and war against terrorism. I'll point out how this guy's acting like the Afghan witnesses just suddenly started talking about American troops coming by and threatening them. Threatening retaliation for a U.S. soldier getting hurt by an IED, an improvised explosive device.
Our Pentagon correspondent Jim Miklaszewski on duty from there tonight. Jim, good evening. Good evening Brian. In another twist to the tragic story, villagers where the shootings took place are now claiming that the 16 civilians were gunned down in retaliation for an IED attack against American forces. That villagers claim that days before the massacre, American combat troops entered that village and threatened to kill every man and their children for that attack on the Americans, but Pentagon and military officials said today there is no evidence of any IED attack around that time and no evidence the Americans threatened retaliation. In fact, officials here at the Pentagon suspect this is nothing more than propaganda. This guy's taking the word of the Pentagon and ignoring statements reported before this report. He's so willing to push the Pentagon line that he's ignoring stories that have already been reported about an IED attack. And that the suspect was upset about that. He ignores what has already been reported, information that was coming from the suspect's own lawyer. And meanwhile Jim accepts the Pentagon story and labels what the Afghan people are saying as "propaganda." Do you think he would ever call what the U.S. says "propaganda?" Do you think he would ever talk about U.S. government statements being criticized as "propaganda?" Do you think ever in a million years this man would say, "by the way, the U.S. government has a pattern of lying." Even though it's the truth, dramatically it's the truth: that the U.S. government has a pattern of lying even about military affairs. The bare minimum we owe our soldiers and their families is the truth. That didn’t happen for the two most famous soldiers in the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars. For Jessica Lynch and Pat Tillman, the government violated its most basic responsibility. Sensational details and stories were invented in both cases. In Jessica Lynch's case, the Washington Post published a front page story 10 days after her capture that discarded the facts and mislead the country. Pfc. Jessica Lynch, rescued Tuesday from an Iraqi hospital, fought fiercely and shot several enemy soldiers after Iraqi forces ambushed the Army’s 507th Ordnance Maintenance Company, firing her weapon until she ran out of ammunition, U.S. officials said yesterday. Lynch, a 19-year-old supply clerk, continued firing at the Iraqis even after she sustained multiple gunshot wounds and watched several other soldiers in her unit die around her in fighting March 23, one official said. Where did this false information come from? Jessica Lynch was captured on March 23. The Washington Post published a completely factual article on her rescue on April 2. But by April 3, ten days after her capture, U.S. officials had become the source for a story that riveted the nation, but twisted the truth beyond recognition.

Get PDF Link (What works best for me is to go the site and download the pdf (select file then download original) and then print it out, that works best for me to preserve the original boarders of the flyer as opposed to trying to print it directly from the site.) I go to a copy shop so I don't wear out my printer.
TEXT OF THE FLYER: Remember companies like Enron and WorldCom? They were run unethically and top people were found guilty of crimes.

! It’s time to come to terms with just how unethical big media companies are in our country and to take action to protect ourselves from journalistic malpractice. Top reporters dominating the media landscape not only don't represent our interests, they are perpetrating a massive fraud on the public. There is widespread corruption in the media and top pundits are pushing manipulative and dangerous lies. You can see their lies exposed at: YouTube.com/RepresentativePress

Tinyurl.com/WarPropagandaExposed links to a playlist of videos, the first one debunks the biggest lie elites are using right now in order to justify a war with Iran. It has over 460,000 views but we need to reach more to gain a foothold in public discourse. We can reach more people if we pass these links on to others.

The second video in the playlist exposes CBS’s 60 Minutes editing out the President of Iran’s call for a peaceful solution to the Israel-Palestine conflict: democracy. (cutting his answer off in mid- sentence.) The video shows how Mike Wallace deceives viewers with misleading narration – and see what they didn’t air! He has not only gotten away with this fraud, they gave him an EMMY for it! ! The media has been fabricating threats and underreporting statements like this: We will never start a war. We have no intention of going to war with any state. We must not allow the media to push us into another fraudulent war! See proof: bit.ly/IraqLie It’s time to take action, you can help build up this platform to expose these warmongers — download a PDF of this flyer here: bit.ly/GetPDF then make copies & distribute them. There’s strength in numbers ... Tinyurl.com/JoinEmail& Tinyurl.com/SubToChannel helps too.

You can cut these flyers in half and distribute them that way or pass them out as is & ask people to cut them in half and give them to others.

dominated by a criminal minded mass media

We must establish a representative press which will, at the bare minimum, acknowledge the concept of rule of law when it comes to foreign affairs regarding what US or Israeli politicians say and do. Attacking another country, as is being so cavalierly discussed in mainstream media, is still a crime. Making threats to attack is still a crime. It doesn't matter if the aggressor is the United States or Israel, it is still a crime. At the BARE minimum the mainstream media should have guests on TV who will state these basic facts. The reporters dominating the public discourse in our country violate basic decency when they talk about these things as if they are not crimes. They are indeed talking as if it is legitimate to do what some US and Israeli officials have been threatening to do.

We are being dominated by a criminal minded mass media which is putting our lives at risk. We deserve a hell of a lot better than to be treated like this. We need to work together to change this situation immediately. We need to prevent any more war crimes – we need to work right now, I welcome any input from you in order to derail the war train because I am putting a flyer together to that end. An important link that I'm trying to promote is: ‪Tinyurl.com/WarPropagandaExposed‬‬

Killing Obama for Israel is Option 3 says Atlanta Jewish Times publisher

Assassinating President Obama is an option "on the table" according to Atlanta Jewish Times owner & publisher Andrew Adler. It's "option 3" which he says we should think about:

Three, give the go-ahead for U.S.-based Mossad agents to take out a president deemed unfriendly to Israel in order for the current vice president to take his place, and forcefully dictate that the United States' policy includes its helping the Jewish state obliterate its enemies.
Yes, you read "three" correctly. Order a hit on a president in order to preserve Israel's existence. Think about it. If I have thought of this Tom Clancy-type scenario, don't you think that this almost unfathomable idea has been discussed in Israel's most inner circles?
Another way of putting "three" in perspective goes something like this: How far would you go to save a nation comprised of seven million lives ... Jews, Christians and Arabs alike?

You have got to believe, like I do, that all options are on the table.
Newspaper Editor: Israel Should Consider Assassinating Obama
https://s3.amazonaws.com/s3.documentcloud.org/documents/284979/ajt.pdf

Notice the lack of outrage when "options on the table" include war crimes like bombing another country. Did you notice that the pundits don't express outrage about the other "options" which are not limited to the murder of a single public official but could potentially kill millions?
Abraham H. Foxman, director of the Anti-Defamation League, said there is “no excuse” for that kind of rhetoric. “It doesn’t even belong in fiction. These are irresponsible and extremist words. It is outrageous and beyond the pale. An apology cannot possibly repair the damage,” he said in a statement. “Mr. Adler’s lack of judgment as a publisher, editor and columnist raises serious questions as to whether he’s fit to run a newspaper.”
What about acting like the other 2 things are "options?" Isn't arguing for committing war crimes also irresponsible, extremist words which are outrageous and beyond the pale? The other attacks which Adler claims are options are in fact crimes too.

The truth of the matter

The well respected author Noam Chomsky has written about Israel's intentional attack on the USS Liberty:
“The truth of the matter is that Israel has been granted a unique immunity from criticism in mainstream journalism and scholarship … the attack on the unmistakably identified U.S. Liberty with rockets, aircraft cannon, napalm, torpedoes and machine guns, clearly premeditated, leaving 34 crewmen dead and 75 wounded in “the Navy’s bloodiest ‘peacetime’ international incident of the 20th century" … the general reaction of the press and scholarship has been silence or misrepresentation. … The nature of the attack on the Liberty was also evaded not only by the press fairly generally but by the government and by a U.S. Naval Board of Inquiry, though high-ranking figures had no doubt that the official report was a whitewash; former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Thomas H. Moorer, for example, states that the attack “could not possibly have been a case of mistaken identity,” as officially claimed.” pp31-32 The Fateful Triangle: The United States, Israel and the Palestinians

Openly calling for his country to violate international law

"And let's be crystal clear about what Kroenig is advocating here. He is openly calling for preventive war against Iran, even though the United States has no authorization from the U.N. Security Council, it is not clear that Iran is actively developing nuclear weapons, and Iran has not attacked us or any of our allies -- ever. He is therefore openly calling for his country to violate international law.He is calmly advocating a course of action that will inevitably kill a significant number of people, including civilians, some of whom probably despise the clerical regime (and with good reason). And Kroenig is willing to have their deaths on his conscience on the basis of a series of unsupported assertions, almost all of them subject to serious doubt." We have no indication that the Iranians have made a decision to develop a nuclear weapon

“George Little, the Pentagon press secretary, said Mr. Panetta’s comments should not be taken as a prediction that Iran would have a nuclear weapon within a year.

“The secretary was clear that we have no indication that the Iranians have made a decision to develop a nuclear weapon,” Mr. Little said. “He was asked to comment on prospective and aggressive timelines on Iran’s possible production of nuclear weapons — and he said if, and only if, they made such a decision. He didn’t say that Iran would, in fact, have a nuclear weapon in 2012.

Mr. Little said inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency remained in Iran and had good access to Iran’s continuing production of low-enriched uranium.Should Iran choose to “break out” — diverting low-enriched uranium to produce weapons-grade highly enriched uranium — the inspectors could detect it, Mr. Little said.

“We would retain sufficient time under any such scenario to take appropriate action,” he said.” - Aides Qualify Panetta’s Comments on Iran By Published: December 20, 2011

These people need to be reminded that “appropriate action” means ONLY legal actions and that those engaged in war crimes will be held accountable.
